INSPIRATION
What was supposed to be just a visit to immersion "Beyond Van Gogh", became a powerful source of inspiration. Especially when I saw this self portrait just "BLINKED" at me! (lol) There I was sure: "I will reread this work"! However, I still didn't know what material I would use...
CONCEPT
For me Vincent Willem Van Gogh was BEYOND YOUR TIME...
Thinking about this concept, I came up with the idea of using discarded electronic materials to compose the artwork! In this way, i could honor one of the visionary minds of art history. Someone who FEEL OUTSIDE THE BOX, someone who left his mark for eternity.
PURPOSE
Just by being here reading this text, we can already say that we are privileged! In this condition, we can collaborate with each other, donating part of the earnings of our work, and also with our planet, taking advantage of discarded materials rather than extracting new resources from mother nature.
